These shirts are printed with an image on the front, and then the back is printed with our established sponsors for the 2023-2024 cheer season.

Welcome Class of 2027!! Incoming Freshman mark your calendars for our Freshman Forward event at each of our highschools!!
This event is an opportunity for incoming freshman to meet other freshman, upperclassmen, teachers and administration at their high school.
Students will get to tour the facility and learn more about their high school experience.
Students need to report to their high school that is in their boundary area.
Students can use the school bus service or be dropped off at their high school.

Due to the power outage, the Administrative Office is closed. If you need immediate assistance, please contact the Business Office at 217-525-3040. We expect to resume normal operations Monday, July 3.
All summer school programs and SCOPE are canceled Friday, June 30, to allow maintenance staff to assess and clean up buildings and grounds.
We expect all programs to resume next week as normally scheduled.
All students and staff in summer programs are safe. Buses will run at the normal time, but routes may take longer due to traffic or blocked streets. Families are welcome to pick up students early. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
Just a reminder that Summer School will not meet on July 3rd or July 4th for the holiday. We hope our students and their families have a safe and enjoyable holiday! We will see our students on July 5th to resume classes.
The time to get a Senior Portrait taken by Lifetouch Photography is quickly approaching. Lifetouch will be Lanphier on Wednesday, Aug 9th and Thursday, Aug 10th. Please use this link to schedule the day and time for your appointment. Photo sessions are provided at no cost and there is no commitment to purchase the photos. The photo taken by Lifetouch will be the photo included in the Senior Portrait section of the LAN-Hi Yearbook.

Where do I go to get my picture taken?
We ask that you arrive at Lanphier before your scheduled appointment time. Parking is available in the lot on the northwest corner of 11th Street and Converse Ave. The photographers will be located in the LHS Library (Room 149). Look for the signs identifying the entrance and directions to the Library. When finished, students will exit the building through the doors by the North Office.
What do I wear to my picture session?
Each student can be photographed in 2 outfits. We ask that one photo be taken in dressy attire such as dresses, blouses, slacks, dress shirts and ties, dress pants, and jackets. This is the photo that will be included in the LAN-HI Yearbook. The second outfit can be something of your own choosing.
How do I order pictures?
A Lifetouch order form can be downloaded from the School website and is attached here, for price referencing. Paper forms will also be available on August 9th and 10th during the photo sessions.
***Please remember, you cannot order your pictures until the proofs are sent back to the school.
Lanphier Families- please note that registration for the 2023-2024 has been open. You can register your students online. If you go to the District registration page, it easily walks you through all the steps! You can register your student from any electronic device! Get your start now. Don't wait! Remember all incoming 9th graders will need a physical that includes TB and Diabetes screen and an updated immunization record. All incoming 12th graders will need their meningitis shot!

On May 16th, LHS students experienced a college trip at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The trip was funded by the Principal Scholars Program. The students spent the day touring the campus, having a interactive conversation with a admissions counselor, treated to lunch and engaging in the game “College Jeopardy.” The winning team walked away with 1900 points, U of I t-shirts and all students received a lanyard.
Summer School meets Monday through Thursday, but we will not meet on Monday, June 19th due to the Juneteenth holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, June 20th. We hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the celebrations going on around Springfield!
Lanphier's Summer School starts on Monday, June 12!
Remember, due to construction, we will be utilizing space at Springfield High.
