-Seniors today is the final day to purchase permits for the Converse lot in the Small Commons. You must have $40 cash and proof of insurance. These will be sold before school, during both lunch shifts, and after school. All other drivers will have a chance to buy remaining spots on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 1 and Sept. 2. You must display your Lanphier permit on your mirror. You CANNOT park on private property around Lanphier High School. Vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
-Attention Readers: Are you interested in joining a flexible book club that gets together to read & discuss great books? Join Mrs. Corcoran in the library, room 149, during your lunch on Friday, September 2nd for an informational meeting on the LHS Abe 2023 Book Club.

-Petitions for the 2022 Homecoming Court are available outside Mrs. Davis’ room 25 (in the Commons) and the Academic office in the small commons. ANY student of ANY grade levels is welcome to run for the 2022 Homecoming Court. Representatives from each class will be chosen. To be placed on the ballot, you must complete a petition requiring signatures from your classmates. Petitions MUST be completed and returned ONLY to THE SENIOR BOX LOCATED IN THE ACADEMIC CENTER by Friday, Sept. 2 at 3:30. Voting for the court will take place on-line Tuesday, September 6th. Results will be posted on the LHS webpage by Thursday, October 7th.
-Voting for the 2022 Homecoming Court will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 6. To vote you will go to your global Canvas announcements and find the announcement titled “Homecoming Voting.” Voting closes at 5pm.

*Monday - Labor Day: No School
*Tuesday - Hawaiian Day
*Wednesday - Class Color Day (9th Grade: Orange, 10th Grade: Purple, 11th Grade: Red, 12th Grade: Blue)
* Staff can either stay with the Post Secondary Theme or wear a class color that you teach the majority of.
*Thursday — Throwback Thursday
*Friday — Orange and Black Day
