-The homecoming dance will be on Saturday, October 17th from 7pm - 9pm in the LHS Wrestling Gym. Tickets will go on sale during lunch on October 13th - October 16th. Each ticket is $20. No tickets will be sold at the door, only during your lunch shifts the week of homecoming. Any student that is suspended at the time of the dance will not be able to attend.
-Voting for homecoming court will begin tomorrow, Thursday, October 7th at 7am and the link will close at 7pm. The link will be found in your global canvas announcements. It is set up so votes only from students at LHS will be recorded and you can only vote one time. The court results will be posted on the LHS Global Canvas announcements on Friday morning by 9am. If you have 3 or more F’s by the time voting opens on Thursday morning, your name will not be able to be on the court ballot. Please email or see Mrs. Pochynok with any questions.
-Student Voice Team members will meet during 2nd period tomorrow, Thursday, October 7th in Room 03-050. You will go to second hour and wait for an announcement to dismiss you.
-School Picture Make Up Day will be held Wednesday, October 28th. This session will be for all students and staff who were not present on Picture Day, or who need to retake their photo due to an issue with the picture. This includes 9th through 11th grade AND Senior Portraits. Students wishing to schedule a retake will need to contact Mr. Fisher in advance. You may e-mail him at cfish@sps186.org or catch him on the Yellow Hall. Students who need their first picture taken will be scheduled and notified of their time to come to the auditorium. Your school picture is used for your student ID, the district cumulative folder, and in the yearbook. This is our final picture day for the year, so make sure you are here and ready! That includes you, seniors!
-If you are interested in joining Art club, we will meet Fridays from 3:17-4:15. If you have no experience or a lot, anyone and everyone can join. Meet new folks and have a great time with our very own Lanphier High School art club!

-As a reminder, according to our district cell phone policy, no phones should be visible in the hallways, restrooms, or classrooms at any time. The only time a cell phone can be visible or in use is in the atrium/cafeteria area during breakfast and lunch. They must be OFF & AWAY at any other time.
