-School picture day is next week! Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and LHS staff will be on Thursday, September 3rd. Your student photo is used on your cumulative folder, your student ID, and your yearbook portrait. Students will be assigned times and brought down to the auditorium by class. Senior portraits are scheduled for Friday, September 4. Seniors will be provided with the opportunity to take two portraits: one in proper dress and one in a casual outfit of their choice. More information will be provided later this week.
-Afternoon CACC students they will have to leave class at 11:50AM each day, except Wednesday; you will follow the normal lunch schedule on Wednesday. All afternoon CACC students should have B lunch.
-Attention all current and future drama club members - our first meeting will be Monday, August 31st after school in Mrs. Hutchison's room (3-001). It should only last 20 minutes. If you were part of last year's production or are interested in being a part of this year's play, please plan on joining us!
-Students - If you would like a schedule change, you need to email your Assistant Principal and let them know what you would like to change. DO NOT just go to their office to talk about your schedule. You must email and then you will be called down to the office to discuss the change.
-Any Girls and Boys interested in running Cross-Country,Please see Coach Daniel in the building. Practice will be Tuesday,Thursday and Friday this week from 3:30pm-5:15pm. We meet on the track.
-Students interested in Esports tryouts are starting next week, Monday, August 31 through Saturday, September 5. All tryouts will be held after school at 4 p.m. in the Lanphier High School Esports Lab. Flyers listing each game title and date have been posted around the lunch room. Students should scan the QR code for more information and to sign up in advance.
-Outdoor Lunch on the Patio: If you choose to eat lunch outdoors on the patio, please make sure you have your lunch, personal belongings, and anything else you may need before exiting the building. Please use the restroom and take time to connect with your peers and staff before heading outside. Once you choose outdoor lunch, you will be expected to remain outside until the bell rings. Whether you are inside or outside, please remember to throw away your trash and leave all common areas clean. Taking pride in our school means doing our part to keep our spaces clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for helping us take care of our school!
