School spirit showed up LOUD and proud tonight across the city 
At Lanphier High School, the Lions Den was rocking as the Lions hosted the Railersplitters from Lincoln. From the opening tip, the crowd was locked in, the band brought the beats, and the cheer and pom squads delivered nonstop energy and talent that kept the gym buzzing. The Lions battled hard all night, and while they came up just short against a tough Railer squad, the effort and spirit never wavered. That’s the Lions Den doing what it does best! 
Across town on Washington Street, Springfield High School - Illinois brought the vibes in Duey Gymnasium as the Senators took on Decatur Eisenhower. The stands were packed, the cheers were loud, and the band, cheer, and pom squads set the tone for an electric night of basketball. Feeding off that energy, the Senators powered through and came away with a home victory, cue the celebration 
Win or lose, nights like these are what it’s all about, students, families, and community members showing up, supporting our teams, and enjoying the full game-day experience together.
And the action isn’t over yet
