-NHS Seniors You must have all of your hours turned into Ms. Grendze NO LATER THAN TOMORROW, FRIDAY, APRIL 26th if you wish to receive your NHS cords, certificate and be part of the newspaper announcement. No exceptions will be made.
-Any student that made the honor roll or had perfect attendance for the third quarter is invited to attend our Day Party on Thursday, May 2nd. 9th & 10th grade will attend during 6th hour and 11th & 12th grade will attend during 7th hour. A list has gone out via Global Canvas announcements. It is organized by grade level and then alphabetically, so please verify that your name is on the list. Please do not just assume that you are or are not on the list.
-The SGA proudly presents Viva Las Vegas, Junior-Senior Prom, April 27th, 2024 at Erin’s Pavilion from 8-10. Tickets are being sold to juniors and seniors this week during both lunch shifts in the atrium. tickets are $25 per person and the first 300 tickets are Lanphier Poker Chips. Prom court will be introduced at 8:30 pm!
-Its Here! Back by popular demand (for the third year in a row!), it is our end of the year Alphabet countdown! There are 22 days of school remaining and today’s letter is E and the theme of the day is: E is for Eastside. Wear blue and gold in support of our fellow District 186 friends on the Eastside, Southeast High School. Tomorrow there will be 21 days of school remaining and the theme is F is for Fraternity vs. Sorority Day! Students - dress up like a frat or sorority member! (Not sure what that looks like? Just do a quick Google search!) Staff - if you were in a college frat or sorority show your colors today or wear your favorite college shirt! Encourage your classmates and your teachers to participate and let’s make this end of the year a GREAT ONE! -If you are 18 years old, deputy registrars will be here TODAY during both lunch shifts to register any 18 year old student to vote. You will need to have two forms of Identification, one of them must have your current address on it. Your school ID could serve as one form and your driver’s license or state ID could serve as another form. Please see Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Pochynok, or your assistant principal with any questions before your lunch shift.
-10th grade students needing to make up the PSAT 10, we will have a make-up session TODAY, Thursday April 25th. Check for an email from Mrs. Powell with all of the details.
