You will be able to get them during passing periods, lunch or after school. This is a lengthy packet, so do not wait until the last minute to get it filled out. -Don’t forget that we are recognizing student efforts in making positive behavioral choices and for being on time to all classes and to school. Each week, any student who was referral-free and tardy-free for the previous week will be entered into the drawing and FOUR student names will be drawn. The winners will be announced and they will come down to the atrium to choose a gift card. We want to ensure that we are making Lanphier a positive, safe, and productive place for all students to learn and thrive so we want to make sure we recognize the efforts of students that are contributing to that goal! Each Monday, every student starts with a clean slate, so if you hit a bump the week before, you will get another chance at the start of each week. We would like to give a shout to Coach Blake Turner and the LHS Football Boosters for providing us with these rewards and encouraging Lanphier students to make safe and positive choices while here at LHS and in the local Springfield community.
-Students needing to make up the standardized tests from last week will be contacted by Mrs. Powell, Mrs. Ford, or Mrs. Burtle this week. We are first focusing on the SAT and will then do PSAT make-ups.
-Attention students who are signed up to take either Yearbook or Newspaper class next school year. We are having a meeting during BOTH A & B lunch on Tuesday. Please grab a drink and your computer and meet in Mr. Winders’ room. Pizza will be provided for lunch. Please join us at the BEGINNING OF YOUR LUNCH shift. If you have questions, see Mrs. Davis or Mr. Winders.
-Now for a moment of silence.
-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Have a Great Day Lions!
And now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual. Please take a moment to discuss your response with your class.
