-“If you have already taken driver’s Ed, have your permit, but still need behind the wheel, please go see Ms Kauffman in room 2-035 at some point so she can get you signed up.”
-Congratulations to our very own Anisha Perkins for being awarded Honorable mention in the scholastic art award annual competition. Students from around the state entered works to be Judged by a panel of professional artist and teachers, and Anisha's work was accepted! We are very proud of her and happy to see her represent Lanphier!
-Spread the love by buying your friends or Valentine a gift to be delivered to their class. You can buy chocolate for $1.50, a rose for $2.50 or a carnation for $1.50. Today is the final day to purchase these during your lunch shift.
-Don’t forget that we are recognizing student efforts in making positive behavioral choices and for being on time to all classes and to school. Each Monday, any student that was referral free and tardy free for the previous week will be entered into the drawing and FOUR student names will be drawn. The winners will be announced and they will come down to the atrium to choose a $25 gift card. We want to ensure that we are making Lanphier a positive, safe, and productive place for all students to learn and thrive so we want to make sure we recognize the efforts of students that are contributing to that goal! Each Monday, every student starts with a clean slate, so if you hit a bump the week before, you will get another chance at the start of each week. We would like to give a shout to Coach Blake Turner for providing us with these rewards and encouraging Lanphier students to make safe and positive choices while here at LHS and in the local Springfield community.
-Bus #38 is arriving on time. Please make sure you are at your stop at the appropriate time. If you are unsure what time you should be at your stop, please stop by the academic office.
-Students interested in trying out for boys baseball should plan to attend a meeting immediately after school today. Coach House will meet those interested on the second floor near the entry to the main gym. Use the stairs in the cafeteria area to reach that location.
-Girls Track and Field practice has started! Meet Coach Napier and Coach Jackson on the 2nd floor above the atrium. Practices will be Monday-Friday from 3:45-5:30pm.. Come with a winning attitude and mindset to make a difference in our program. Any questions see Coach Daniel or Coach Napier during the day!
