-This week’s Take Care Tuesday tip is brought to you by The Peace Room: Take Deep Breaths - Breathing helps more oxygen travel to all your organs and tissues. Your body obviously does this naturally. But sometimes you need a moment to really slow down and just rejuvenate your body and mind.

-Open gym for girl’s basketball is being held on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. See Coach Collins or Coach Daniel if you have any questions.

-The cheer team is looking at having an additional tryout for the winter season!  Any 9th through 12th grader interested in trying out for cheerleading will need to complete the Google interest form and tryout packet which is on Canvas. The Google Forms must be submitted by October 9th by 5pm. You will need to print the tryout packet and bring it with you to the first clinic on October 11th.  Again, this is to check to see how many students are interested.  A minimum of 10 students will need to express interest in order for a tryout to be held!   

-Reminder to those who have signed up to donate blood - the blood drive is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 27th in the Bloodmobile parked on Converse St. See Mrs. Corcoran in the library if you have questions.

-Prospective NHS students need to return their forms to Ms. Grendze no later than Friday September 29th to be accepted into this year’s NHS.

-Toot! Toot! Get aboard the Scholastic Bowl train! It leaves the station TODAY after school in Room 241.  Join Mr. Dulski, the greatest engineer the world has ever known, for the greatest adventure with stops everywhere in Springfield and BEYOND! Be apart from the start and depart to gain knowledge and show you’re smart!   See you TODAY after school in room 241!  Remember, we are a sport! A SPORT! Scholastic Bowl! Punch and pie!

-Art club will be meeting after school on TODAY from 3:17-4:15. It is the first meeting of Art club for the school year, so come out and join other artists to make some cool things and meet other people!
