-Students - We need each of you to listen to this important announcement.  We want our school to be safe.  We want our school to be a place that is fight free and a place where any form of bullying is not allowed.  We want you to feel safe on your phones, on social media and in person at school.  We need you to be respectful. Ask for help from an adult if you need help, and NEVER choose physical violence as a way to solve your problems. If you see something that doesn’t sound or seem right - tell someone right away.  The students and adults that attend and work in this school deserve to be safe at all times.  Fighting will not be tolerated and we will utilize consequences if you make the choice to bully students in person or online or if you choose to fight at school. Help make District 186 a place where everyone is proud to work and learn.

-Please help us support a former Lanphier science teacher and current Springfield High teacher who has fallen gravely ill.  Mr. Ken Reid is fighting for his life with an illness that has taken so much from him already.  LHS will be raffling off TWO  of the popular STANLEY Quencher H2.0 Flowstate 40 oz tumblers. Tickets for the raffle are $5.00.  ALL proceeds will go to support Mr. Reid and his family. Tickets will be sold during A and B lunch Monday-Friday of this week in the Small Commons. The winners will be announced Monday, April 3.

-Now for a moment of silence.

-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

-And now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual. Please take a minute to discuss your response with your class: What is one word that you would use to describe your Spring Break week?

Have a Great Day Lions!
