-There are still a few blood donation slots available for the National Honor Society Bloodrive on Wednesday, March 29th. Please visit Mrs. Corcoran in the library, room 149, to sign up. Donors receive a cooler tote or $10 gift card to a place of their choosing.
-Students - We need each of you to listen to this important announcement. We want our school to be safe. We want our school to be a place that is fight free and a place where any form of bullying is not allowed. We want you to feel safe on your phones, on social media and in person at school. We need you to be respectful. Ask for help from an adult if you need help, and NEVER choose physical violence as a way to solve your problems. If you see something that doesn’t sound or seem right - tell someone right away. The students and adults that attend and work in this school deserve to be safe at all times. Fighting will not be tolerated and we will utilize consequences if you make the choice to bully students in person or online or if you choose to fight at school. Help make District 186 a place where everyone is proud to work and learn.
-If you ordered graduation announcements, Jostens will be delivering them on March 16 before school, and after B lunch for afternoon CACC students. Payments can be made by cash or card only.
-No art club Today. We will resume once we come back from spring break.
-Now for a moment of silence.
-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
-And now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual. Please take a minute to discuss your response with your class: It’s March Madness! Are you following the college tournaments? If so, what teams are you hoping or predicting will come out on top? If you don’t follow the tournaments, then what is one thing you are looking forward to during the remainder of March?
Have a great day Lions!
