-Art club will NOT MEET Today after school. Please see MR.Wilson if you have any questions.
-Did you know that 62.6% of Americans are eligible to donate blood, yet less than 5% actually give? Now is your opportunity to give blood and save lives! National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, March 29th. If you would like to give blood on March 29th, visit Mrs. Corcoran in the library to sign up for a time slot. You must be at least 16 years old to give blood. Donors receive their choice of a cooler tote or $10 gift card to places like Walmart, Amazon, Starbucks, and more.
-“Where’s my lions at?! Are you interested in being a part of LHS Cheerleading or LHS Poms? Packets are available now up until tryouts in room 131! Any girls or boys interested in trying out for either team are welcome! For any questions please reach out to Coach Kelsey or Coach Haley.”
-Students - We need each of you to listen to this important announcement. We want our school to be safe. We want our school to be a place that is fight free and a place where any form of bullying is not allowed. We want you to feel safe on your phones, on social media and in person at school. We need you to be respectful. Ask for help from an adult if you need help, and NEVER choose physical violence as a way to solve your problems. If you see something that doesn’t sound or seem right - tell someone right away. The students and adults that attend and work in this school deserve to be safe at all times. Fighting will not be tolerated and we will utilize consequences if you make the choice to bully students in person or online or if you choose to fight at school. Help make District 186 a place where everyone is proud to work and learn.
-Now for a moment of silence.
-Please Rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
-And now it’s time for today’s welcoming ritual. Please take a minute to discuss your response with your class: It’s TRIVIA TUESDAY! Think of one “trivia question” in your head and try to stump your classmates and teacher with your trivia question!
Have a great day Lions!
