Good evening GMS families this coming Wednesday 4/9 there will be an informational meeting for any student interested in participating in Poms for the upcoming school year. The meeting will be held directly after school in the AP room at 1:30. There will be an activity bus at 4:15 for students needing transportation home.

Reminder GMS families we kick off our track season at New Street Field against WMS starting at 3:30PM. Entry is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. We hope to see you there!

What a great week of state testing! 8th graders just have 2 more assessments to complete next week to finish up their Science Assessments on Monday and Thursday. This is a friendly reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Friday, April 4, 2025 as it is a Teacher Inservice day. We will see everyone on Monday, April 7!

Good afternoon track families, Attention to all GMS TRACK families, We just posted a very important message to the Track and Field ROOMS. If you are having trouble accessing this please reach to myself Mr. Goss (jgoss@sps186.org) so that we can get you access. The track season officially starts Monday at New Street Field! To the athletes please make sure any and all paper work is submitted so you are eligible to participate! Fans we encourage all to come out and support our Generals! -Mr. Goss

Please join us at Grant middle school for our monthly Family and Community and Engagement Team meeting. Wednesday 3/26/25 from 5pm-6pm in the school library. We have discussions about how the new attendance with phone calls home in the morning is working, we will discuss and help any families that are needing assistance with checking your students grades and how to log into the intranet. And we will discuss and welcome new members to the team as well as welcoming a Parent Teacher Organization group being started at Grant. Lights refreshments will be served.
